T-shirt fundraiser for Western Kentucky tornado relief efforts

If we're being honest, it's hard to feel excited about much right now. Christmas is right around the corner, Sweet Owen Magazine will be here Thursday, but many of our fellow Kentuckians are hurting. If there's one thing we've learned this week, it's that county lines may separate us, but we are all one Commonwealth.

Beginning this evening through Wednesday, Dec. 22, Sweet Owen Magazine and the Owen County Tourism Commission will accept orders for T-shirts of the pictured design created by Sweet Owen Editor Molly Haines. We have partnered with a local business to make this happen. Funds raised will be donated to the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund.

The T-shirts will be available in sizes S-4XL for $15 (add $3 for sizes 2XL-4XL). Please fill out the Google form (https://forms.gle/ejCp8SmmdxHgbNFH6) no later than Wednesday, Dec. 22. Payment is due upon T-shirt pick-up at the Owen County Visitor Center & Gift Shop, 300 S. Main St., Owenton, KY 40359, the first week in January. You will have until Saturday, Jan. 8, to pick up/pay for your T-shirt. Any T-shirts not claimed by the deadline will be sold at the visitor center.
